  • By car: From Goulton Beck Lodges, take the A66 towards Darlington, then join the A19 heading south. Follow signs for Preston and the Museum. There is ample parking available on-site for visitors at TS18 3RJ.
  • By public transport: If you prefer public transport, you can drive to Northallerton (DL7 8JR) and then catch the Transpennine Express or LNER train to Darlington, then catch the Northern line to Eaglescliffe. It’s then a 17-minute walk to the Museum and Grounds.

By bike: If you fancy some exercise, you can get to the Preston Park Museum and Gardens in 53 minutes by bike from Goulton Beck.
